Growing up in today’s world is tough. Youth and children must be able to face this reality and live with
purpose, hope, faith and joy. We believe passionately that these qualities of life are uniquely found in a
relationship with Jesus Christ. Our LOGOS ministry exists to foster this relationship.
LOGOS meets on Wednesday afternoons during the school year and welcomes all children in the community
to participate in the program. Each week we pick a theme — based on a holiday, a country, a story, a sport,
or whatever our imaginations come up with — then we plan activities and Bible lessons to go with the
theme. The children rotate through 3 activity areas and then all come together for a family style meal.
BIBLE TIME: Learn who the Bible says God is and who you are as child of God. Learn what Jesus teaches
and put that into practice as you participate in the 4 parts of the LOGOS Program.
RECREATION TIME: Participate in games, active play, or explore your own creativity and learn to share that
with others.
WORSHIP/MUSIC TIME: Learn about worship and prepare to lead in worship services. Includes singing,
hand bells, and drama.
FAMILY MEAL TIME: Eat dinner at family style tables. Work on building a “table family” who cares about and
ministers to one another while eating a delicious and nutritious meal.
