Advent at CCR The Chancel Ministry would like to remind you about the Advent Season which starts on November 27. This season consists of four weeks which at the time before Jesus was born were bleak and dark because they were waiting expectantly for many years for something to happen — the birth of Jesus. You will note that the first Sunday of Advent we have blue paraments, the advent wreath, and wreaths on our church door. By the second Sunday an undecorated Christmas tree will have been added and on the third Sunday the tree and the sanctuary will be decorated. On the fourth Sunday poinsettias will adorn the altar rails and all will be ready for the celebration to begin. See the Bulletin Board page for details  about our December Schedule. LOGOS resumes on January 11 with a whole new bunch of fun themes and programs for everyone to enjoy.
